Studio news
working on new designs
I´m really happy with these drops! They are big and eye catching. Despite the size lightweight and comfortable to wear !
...and I decided to not take silk for my art-beads...the fabric ropes were too soft, it looks more chic and modern with stainless steel wires! (I´m sure my wonderful silk fabrics will become another chance!)

Studio Renovating Update... and "Ikea Hack"
not ready yet, (haste makes waste!) .......
But here are some improvements we made:
My husband helped me with the Ikea Ivar cupboards -, (actually it was his idea to put them on wooden posts from wall to wall, clever! )
I cut the shelfs in half to get place for the tools on the doors.
I put some mosaic tiles on the sill
...and made a rack for all the ledges and bars ...
dowelled onto the wall, so the floor can be cleaned easily
have a wonderful weekend all!

Answer to a problem...
I need a tool to get a thin rope into a crocheted tube.....
Needles are way to short, and if they are long enough, they are too thick!
So here is what I made:
First is to solder a brass wire to a circle
Bended, one end clamped into the bench vise, the other into an electric drill!
Then carefully twisted.....
voila..: ready to thread the rope through the tube

experimental stage
Drawing is good,...to try out is better!
Testing the length....
What would I do without cords, safety pins and Patafix! Not really glamorous, but effective!
Stay tuned for the finished piece
