crafting project....upcycling ice creme sticks (popcicle sticks) Part 1

Far away from collecting every stick during the summer, many of them move to the dishwasher, and afterwards into the material stock. 

Over the years it adds up to a real big stack, and christmas is around the corner....so I had the idea for a cool crafting project:

 to boost the excitement, for now just the start...(in fact I´m a very lazy blogger at the moment, and so I can make more out of this simple undertaking)
Seriously I´m unsure about some essential ingredients yet, and it can take some time to post step 2.

almost forgot to roll out this "how to use scrap from wood flooring" post!

Not really a tutorial, but maybe an inspiration.

a cheer for tailor´s chalk .......universally usable....here for marking the pegs!

 wood glue and clamps and drying time needed after this!

 crimping and rasping to avoid the tea light slipping away

 same here , rasped little jags to avoid slipping
