The truth will out.
before........and after
I ignore constant the need of house cleaning on christmas or on easter, but it is impossible to ignore the dust when first spring sunshine laughs through your kitchen window.....

endurance test!
I make one for me and wear this prototype for a while constantly.
My previous ring design had a sort of silver guardrail so the beaded piece was not so exposed than this one. There is more strain on the glue. Otherwise, I like that daintier, smaller design.
So I wear my ring in a way I will tell you not to do, in my item descriptions!
I wash the dishes, my hands after cleaning up the kitchen. I rake off snow from the pergola roof. I go to my studio to polish some silver pieces! I think it will pass the test!
Now all I have to do is to find a hand model to take some nice pictures!
Btw..... great tips about taking nice pictures today on HAND MADE EUROPE from Vadjuka, in an interview by Dawn of LaTouchables.

Venice (Italy) inspired earrings
When I was creating these pairs of earjewelry I had the view from a vaporetto to the "palazzi" on "Canale Grande" before my face.

I think, none of us should use a plastic bag ever again!
Well, I know this is not really practicable, but I will try to cut down a lot of them.
First I use baskets for my shopping by car. They don´t need 200 years to decompose.
The next is to have many fabric shopping bags!... I mean many, approx. 10.
you can left them in every handbag, in every shopping basket, in the car, in the bicycle basket..and so on...
Then, it is great to quit the use of thin plastic bags for vegetables or fruits.
This is possible if I have thin cotton fabric bags. (lots of them)!.
Last thing you have to do is: say NO ! if someone asks : "Do you want a plastic bag" ?

ART NOUVEAU Decoupage..... Giftwraps by Artists
A few weeks ago I started to write this blog to give some background infos to my current jewelry making and beadworking , mainly for my shop visitors. But now I think, maybe it would be interesting to blog some former projects too....higgledy-piggledy, quasi.
This is one of them: Two years ago my kitchen layers surfaces were borked and I had the idea
with decoupage. I took off the whole lamination and applied this "Giftwrap by Artists" with decoupage seal.
The pattern has been created in Paris 1895 , published by h.f. ullmann.

pearly beads
These bohemian pearly beads are old as well. They are approximately 1 mm and have some kind of silky luster .
