two part necklace - inspired by a collier, sold some years ago (3rd pic)

reduction of the bead collection!

.....is the need of the hour!

 as you can plainly see - i loved to collect all turquoise and coral colors, it is a favorite combination. 

         

                                 

silver scrap also needs reduction, so I melted some in the charcoal, after cleaning and drilling they will be spacer beads.

this is mine, worn very often. The patina makes it even more beautiful.

It has to be silk!

...to make necklaces for my "abstract Art" beads!

nothing is comparable with dupion silk . This fabric makes the colors shine!

Still on the experimental stage, and dealing with a lot of trial and error.

cut out in diagonal strips, prewashed ....maybe a thin cord inside..?

The ends are tricky to get them perfect, don´t want to have any metal components, that should be pure textile jewelry.

and now for something different : out into the garden.... first warm and sunny spring weekend here!

Creative space....

Big project, first steps,...... uneven, antique cut beads, ... gives a beautiful surface .

This will be a pure and simple design, to accentuate the material! stay tuned for the result.

My new Design - finally finished!

While working on my "Mandala Pendants", I had the idea to make a necklace in that style as well.

..This is so to speak the "prototype"

The amount of work was enormous, but I think it was worthwhile.

..And it was not the last one for sure!

There already are next colors and patterns in my mind !

The next will be a color firecracker....or just black and white? ...
