For everything..turn..turn..turn..

...there is a season.....
Spring is in the air , and please could I have more than 24 hours a day?

Working on far too many project at the same time!

My sweet peas seeds arrived today, which means to get potting compost......and so on and so forth

I need contemplative time to play my Hang

and finally I want to finish the necklaces made from Dupion silk for my Art beads!

These are new, and I,m thrilled to work on a bigger project, using this design.

Time catches up with you. There are periods when not a lot happens....and all at once you have to leap several stairs at a time....

finding a niche...

Maybe the stylist of this fashion shooting would have had a use for my big apple green sphere!

Have a look at my pinterest boards...

It has to be silk!

...to make necklaces for my "abstract Art" beads!
nothing is comparable with dupion silk . This fabric makes the colors shine!

Still on the experimental stage, and dealing with a lot of trial and error.
cut out in diagonal strips, prewashed ....maybe a thin cord inside..?
The ends are tricky to get them perfect, don´t want to have any metal components, that should be pure textile jewelry.
...more about next time...

and now for something different : out into the garden.... first warm and sunny spring weekend here!

Telling a story...

I have to admit, I´m bad at telling stories in my item descriptions!
due to my limited english vocabulary my descriptions rather turn out dryly ....(have to work thereon)

I find it much easier to tell "non verbal" stories by showing some pics of my working processes.

Do you feel storytelling is an important part of your creative work and sales? Do you find it enjoyable to share the inspirations or the details behind what you create?
