I love Indigo ...and the tiny batik patterns which are typical for this blue coloring

wether it is on a japanese old kimono, or as "Blaudruck" from this beautiful area in upper austria, which is very close to my home

Teapot - cushion

If you too own one of these beautiful heavy iron japanese teapots, you probably know the problem: on wooden tables they mysteriously leave black marks.....which they don´t do on fabric.

I used some left over pieces of fabric to solve the problem

Looks original japanese, right?

Tribal series!

It´s a little collection of tribal chevron earrings I´m working on.

Making a ........! Part 2

For those who saw the preparations....here´s the solution:

a christmas present to a lovely eight years old girl: a dollhouse living room suite

What you need is: fabric scrap, a wooden strip, contact glue, wadding, cardboard,

some decorative braid....

Saw, stapler and hot glue gun...

....and taking delight in some chaotic crafting!

I don´t know if this technique is reminiscent of smithing a Damascene sword, or more like making butter puff pastry.....which reminds me that I really should start Christmas baking !

Thats next!

I heat the silver scrap in the mold with my brazing torch to the melting point.

The charcoal is saving the generated heat very well!

At this point it is possible to shape the little liquid pure silver ball for seconds.....

After solidification the structure of the charcoal is visible on the back.

Beautybath in alum, after soldering silver jump rings onto the nuggets.
