...a beaded piece, found in my Ufo´s (unfinished objects) quickly changed into a stick pin!

Clips are coming! ....not the favorites of fashionistas  for many years, do they enjoy popularity again!   

(at least I do believe this!....maybe I´m wrong, never mind....though I started to create a series.)

I always start with green..., but different colors and patterned ones a already on my working table !

I decided to join the "brooch a week" challenge this year! I didn´t make many brooches so far, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to change this circumstance!

Looking forward to get started!

my first entry is a brooch made of a beaded lentil and silver :

Some things don´t change

Some things don´t change : the same kitchen calendar since approx. 30 years in our home!
First as a gift from the local shoemaker, then owing to the slack demand the local shoemaker had to close his business (which belongs to the things that unfortunately changed!)
I was so used to this calendar.......so I´m happy you can buy it still.

Let´s see what 2013 will bring to us !
