When I was creating these pairs of earjewelry I had the view from a vaporetto to the "palazzi" on "Canale Grande" before my face.These old frontages with carved friezes and flaking plaster. Wonderful muted colors, thick velvet curtains behind the windows and geometric patterned stone and marmor floors.
While I am writing this post I also have venice before my face .........sitting in a street cafe, a cup of cappuccino, enjoying the first rays of dawn....... It would be great to make a trip to venice in spring.....must think about!
